Maney Hill Primary School value our links with the local community.

Inspire Workshops

Every class offers an 'Inspire' Workshop for Reading and Maths. We invite parents into school for a session to work with their children and develop a shared understanding of the strategies that we teach in school.

Year 6 Collaboration

Year 6 attended a collaboration day with several other local schools: Walmley Junior, Minworth, Deanery and Penns Primary School. The children had the opportunity to go to Sutton Park for a day of activities including orienteering and shelter building. This also gave the children the chance to meet some children they will be going to Secondary School with.

St Peter's Church

At Christmas time, the whole school visit St Peter's Church for a Carol Service. Our school choir perform and some of our children read out the Christmas Story.

Community Police Officers

Our Local Community Police officers work closely with the school, coming in to talk to the children about 'Stranger Danger' and 'Internet Safety'.

Year 6 Rotary Club interviewing Rev Rhodes.		We loved looking at the fire engine.
We learnt about a stethoscope from a Nurse.		We had a visit from the Opticians.
